Hosting the 23rd annual ITS World Congress in Melbourne next year, ITS Australia have announced the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) and Intelematics Australia as Premier Partners for the event.
Running from 10-14 October 2016, the ITS World Congress brings together users, suppliers, government authorities, academia and transport businesses together, celebrating the latest in intelligent transport systems and technologies.
As Premier Partners, RACV and Intelematics are in a prime position during the Congress to cement their role as global leaders in innovation, transport mobility and safety, motoring technology and connected mobility.
2014 Industry Award winners Intelematics Australia return as Premier Partners for 2016
Receiving the 2014 ITS Industry Award for the Toyota Link and Lexus Enform (Entune) – Toyota Australia’s Connected Vehicle Program - Intelematics will represent Australia at the ITS Asia-Pacific Region Awards, with winners to be announced in October 2015 at the upcoming 22nd ITS World Congress in Bordeaux, France.
The Premier Partnership with RACV and Intelematics at the World Congress further strengthens their reputations locally and internationally as leading supporters and developers of ITS technology to enhance livability in our communities.

Converging senses, communications and automatic control in cooperative and autonomous vehicles
With the rise in popularity of cooperative and automated vehicles, as well as the challenge and opportunities of big open data in smart cities, the announcement of RACV and Intelematics as Premier Partners is central to the upcoming Melbourne World Congress, at which these topics will be key thematic discussions of the event.

ITS Australia will host the 23rd ITS World Congress in Melbourne from 10 to 14 October, 2016. In recognition of Melbourne’s reputation as the world’s most liveable city, the 2016 Congress theme will be “ITS – Enhancing Liveable Cities and Communities”.
