ANDREW SOMERS Andrew is a Director of Mobility as a Service Australia and is also a Specialist Consultant in Network Operations and Intelligent Transport Systems for Transoptim. Andrew has a passion for making practical use of technology to improve the operation of the transport network for customers and the broader community, so Andrew has been exploring the opportunities of technology disruptions such as driverless transportation, connected vehicles and Mobility as a Service to shape the future of transport. |
He has a Masters of Traffic and Transport as well as engineering and commerce degrees from Monash University and over a decade of experience working primarily for governments across Australia.
Andrew is committed to furthering the ITS industry and is 2016 Co-Chair of IBEC, the International Benefit Evaluation Community for ITS.
