It also acts as a key focal point for incident and emergency responses management. It operates 24-hours a day and 7 days a week. Tour will showcase the Dynamic Under Keel Clearance (DUKC) system that generate Under Keel Clearance predictions for proposed user vessel movements and demonstrate enhanced navigation safety and mitigate groundings risks within port channels. Board the Port of Melbourne Corporation survey vessel MV John Norgate or MV Lonsdale and engage with port members on how hydrographic surveying technology used to conduct underwater surveys and detailed mapping of port waters from the Bolte Bridge to Port Phillip Heads.
