Opened in 1999, CityLink was one of the world’s first fully electronic toll roads. Today, millions of trips are made across the 22 kilometre (14 mile) motorway each year. The Transurban team uses state-of-the-art equipment and systems to keep traffic flowing and ensure CityLink’s one million customers receive a high level of service. This tour has been specially designed for the ITS World Congress, providing delegates with the unique opportunity to see first-hand the ITS systems and equipment in place across CityLink’s roadside and in the Operations Centre.
